Getting Ready for the Brighton Marathon and Volcanic Ash

This weekend I'm off to the English southern seaside town of Brighton for their inaugural marathon. Brighton is such a cool mix of Regency and Victorian elegance and eccentric liberalism. London by the sea as they call it will fill its rolling hills, narrow winding cobblestone streets, manicured parks and seafront promenade with 10,000 runners. If the weather stays nice it will be a lovely event with a ton of support however if one of those famous storms and gale force winds blow in then you will see 10,000 people running in parkas with a heavy lean. I wonder what the attire is for volcanic ash?
